Statement: North Devon Link Road funding success

Today (May 17 2018) more than £83 million of government funding was confirmed to pay for upgrades on the A361

"This is a landmark day for North Devon.  Put simply, it's brilliant news.  It's the biggest investment in our area by any government for many years.

Care Home Campaign

John Barrass from Bickington has been campaigning for eight years for an overhaul of the regulation, inspection and complaints system covering private nursing homes.  It follows the death of his mother in a care home in North Devon, which Mr Barrass believes could have been prevented.

How old is the UK?

An investigation by Age UK into the ageing population in Britain including my comments on North Devon, rural isolation and Care Homes.

Flying Fish Open Day 20th April 2018

This Friday marks an important day for one of North Devon’s most innovative charities, with an event to highlight its vital work and to seek support from the business community to ensure its continued success.
